Rocko is a gorgeous, shiny 13 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Gosport, Hampshire, waiting for someone to offer him a new permanent home. Rocko enjoys having doggy company. He is currently living with his fosterer’s dog and he is very happy. In his former home there were other dogs around too.
We were told that Rocko doesn’t like cats, but on meeting them out on walks he has shown no interest. We are not sure if he would be able to live with cats. Rocko has lived with children previously. In foster care he has interacted very positively with children he has met when out.
Rocko’s favourite pastimes are sunbathing, snuggling with his human, snoozing, treats and meeting his doggy friends. He’s not keen on the hoover but will just get out of its way.
Rocko would suit a family home with someone around most of the day. He is strong on the lead, which belies his age, but once he’s had his walk he will happily snooze for the rest of the day. He would be well suited to a home with other dogs as he is used to this and he enjoys doggy company.
Rocko is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has been flea and worm treated. He isn’t on any medication. He has poor teeth but they are not loose and he is going to have a dental soon. He has cloudy eyes, but seems to see well.
