Rocky – 6 year old male Boxer
Rocky is a 6 year old red Boxer, he has come from a loving family home who are heartbroken to see him go, but due to a marriage breakup and relocation for work means Rocky will be left alone far too long and not get the attention he needs which isn’t fair on this boy who craves companionship.
He is a truely wonderful pet and companion. He has a fantastic temperament and has lived with young children. He is loving, active and as far as boxers can be, obedient. He is good with other dogs but has a tendancy to pull towards them onlead, only through playfulness. When he gets to know another dog he is playful and at ease in their company.
He is a slightly nervous dog with some things, including loud large vehicles and high visibility vests which make him pull onlead. Off the lead he does have a tendancy to run away and get distracted thinking its a game, however when he is with other dogs he will come back with them. With some more training this can easily be solved. He is currently on a prescription diet due to a sensitive stomach, but some other kind of wet food will likely be just as good for him.
Rocky is neutered, chipped and fully up to date on his vaccinations. He is regularly de-flead and wormed. He loves chicken, doggy treats and his huge box, plus going out for walks, he is a lovely affectionate dog who loves being brushed.
