Roko is absolutely great with people, he has a high level of energy but does calm after a while, he’s obedient and incredibly affectionate, he really likes children. He loves going out for walks. He has improved a lot and we think he’d improved much faster with a family because he seems eager to please, he’s smart and he’s constantly paying attention to the person next to him. He’s never lived with cats so we don’t know how he’d react. We know he would be absolutely made up to get a new family and a big garden to play in!

Roko was taken to the Spanish pound when he was only 4 months old. He’s never been fostered so he doesn’t know what it’s like to sleep on a comfy bed or enjoy daily walks. He didn’t have any chance to socialize at the pound because he’s always lived alone in his kennel, which means he doesn’t know how to react with other dogs and so can be aggressive when meeting new dogs. He needs training to improve his socialization with dogs, especially males. He’s young, strong and active and he doesn’t get as much exercise as he needs, so he obviously is enthusiastic about going out and pulls on the leash so he will need a harness. Please help us get Roko out of here!
