Ronnie – 13 month old male Rottweiler

Ronnie is a male Rottweiler aged 13 months. He has lived with another dog and children. He has come into rescue due to a child’s ill health meaning long stays in hospital with parents away too. He is a friendly boy but a typical teenager who is calm one minute and excitable and bouncy the next. Ronnie is house trained and has some basic obedience but this will need continuing and improving. He likes other dogs and as he has some separation anxiety needs the company of a female dog and/or owners who are home based and can work on this.

Ronnie pulls on the lead as spent a lot of time in the garden in his previous home so is being headcollar trained. He has had limited life experience outside the house and garden so can sometimes look worried and needs reassurance in new situations. He enjoys his positive training and is very food motivated which helps but also likes praise and fuss too.

Ronnie could live with children 7 plus and has not yet been cat tested but this can be done.
