Rosie – 6 year old female Jack Russell Terrier

Rosie is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier type. She was spotted by one of our Romanian rescuers living by the side of a busy road that she drove along on her daily commute. She stopped to feed Rosie and at that time it was clear she was feeding puppies, although they were nowhere to be seen. The lady continued to bring her food each day until she clearly no longer had puppies to feed. Sadly we don’t know what happened to them but it meant that Rosie could finally be brought to safety. Rosie is a fostered in Beetley (FR134).

Since arriving in the UK, this dainty little girl has settled straight in to home life and is loving all the comforts it has to offer. She is a typical terrier, bright, feisty and full of personality. She is currently living with 5 other dogs of varying sizes but would probably prefer a smaller pack or be just as happy to be an only dog and lap up all her owner’s affection. She has a tendency to be dominant if allowed to be, clearly to survive this long she has had to stand up for herself and doesn’t take any nonsense! She has been good with my dog savvy children but I think would prefer to live with older children/teenagers or adults as she can be wary if they move suddenly.

Rosie travels well, is enjoying her walks and is clean in the house. She would love to find a special family to treat her like the princess she is.
