Suzie - 10-12 week old female Border Collie

Suzie (black with some tan, one white paw, semi long haired) is a female 10-12 week old female Border Collie. Her litter was brought in by the Inspector who is still dealing with the owner as he has many Collies in the home.

The photos were taken the day they came in to show their dire condition, we will be putting up new photos as they progress, they were very nervous and miserable upon arrival, they must’ve been in so much discomfort, they were extremely wormy and had fleas, which has caused fur loss. They were put into isolation until the vet confirmed there was nothing serious or contagious.

All have been bathed, wormed and flead, micro-chipped and 1st vaccination including kennel cough. When old enough we’ll ensure they are neutered. It may take a few weeks at least for the fur to grow back but in time they will look beautiful. If you are interested in giving one of these adorable pups a home please log an interest, they are not ready to go to new homes for a couple of weeks until their health and condition has improved.

Collies can be quite energetic and active with great minds, they love company so need someone around a lot. We only want loving caring homes where they will get plenty of socialisation with other dogs and people and a good sized garden to play in. Because they are puppies they can be rehomed with all animals. They need to start their new lives as they mean to go on…happy, loved and safe!

Existing animals like cats and dogs need to be fully vaccinated and neutered. Please think carefully before adopting a puppy as they are demanding of time, attention and energy, they also teeth until about 9 months old so need to be provided with chews and toys to prevent chewing anything lying around! They need kind but consistent toilet training, regular walks and socialisation.

As can be seen by the new pics below the pups’ fur is already growing back, their coats are very good and they have great appetites! The pups are full of life, very happy, bouncy but incredibly affectionate and loving! They want nothing more than to either play or snuggle up in your lap for cuddles and belly rubs. If you feel you have the time and patience for a puppy then please get in touch.
