Roxi – 2-4 year old female Rottweiler
Roxi is a 2-4 year old female Rottweiler. Roxi has had a really bad time. She was bought from a family who we can’t trace by a man with 2 other dogs, one of the dogs was not getting on with Roxi so he sold her to a so called friend who decided he’d start beating her on a regular basis in order to “toughen her up”.
Another man decided to join in on one occasion and apparently broke a knuckle through punching her very hard on the head. Thankfully some kind people went round and bought her in order to save her from this misery. Words fail all those that have been involved with helping Roxi.
Roxi is microchipped, she has been wormed, flead and started vaccinations. She has inflammation in her left her which could’ve been caused by one of the blows to her head, she has ear drops for this. She will be spayed in due course.
Roxi is small for a Rottweiler, sadly her tail has been docked. We’ve been told she’s 4 but the vet agrees she could only be 2. She is the friendliest girl, she has a lovely nature and sits on command, she’s great on the lead and travels really well, when she first gets in the car she cowers but once in she’s fine. She has been great on the occasions she’s been to the vets.
We are not sure if she’s ok with dogs in generally, we think she’s ok with some but not with others. We’ve been told she’s grown up in a family with toddlers, we have no concerns at all but because little is known about her past we’d rather a child and pet free home. We’re looking for someone who’s had Rotties before.
Roxi is so well behaved and considering what she’s been through she is so friendly and soft as a brush! Please can you give this poor little girl a safe and loving forever home?
