Roxy – 1 year old female Boxer

This is the lovely Roxy, she is a 1 year old white Boxer girl. Her story is she came from a family with young children 1 and 3. One of the children had become seriously ill and they no longer had the time to care for Roxy. They were very heart broken when they left and she had been very much loved. Roxy is a typical Boxer in a lot of ways very bouncy, very friendly, loves playing. She has been walked off the lead and is fine with her recall, she is also house trained and clean in her kennels.

Because of the home situation I feel Roxy has not been very well socialized and received very little training if any, because of this she can be a bit unsure when she first meets you and may bark. There is nothing nasty about her and it will only last a minute but the people who take Roxy on have to be aware of this and be prepared to work with her, ie training classes, getting her out and about and building up her confidence so this does not become a problem.

We would prefer older children too as because of her lack of training she will knock younger children over plus we want a home which will have time for her. We will not home her to a home also where she will be left hours on her own she needs someone around. Roxy will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, fleaed and wormed.
