Rudy
Rudy is a 4 year old, English Bull Terrier, who is looking for a new home because his previous owners felt they could no longer control him. Fun-loving Rudy is toilet trained, knows basic commands and can be left alone without problems. He is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle up to you.
He also loves his comfort and will expect to join you on the sofa, or sit on your lap if allowed. A playful boy who will need a constant supply of chewy toys. Stuffed Kongs and activity balls are also popular.
Rudy is very friendly with everyone he meets, though sometimes a little too friendly, jumping up and forcing people to say hello whether they want to or not, he is currently learning if he sits he gets attention but if he miss-behaves he gets ignored.
Unfortunately due to a lack of socialisation he dislikes other dogs so he will need to wear a muzzle and 100 foot long line on his daily outings, ideally we would like to find him a rural home. Although still a little excitable he is responding very well to training and is learning the appropriate manners, this boy wants to please.
Rudy will make a wonderful, fun and loving companion for someone with the experience of Bull breeds. He hasn’t previously lived with young children, and in view of his strength and his training needs, we would prefer to home him with an all-adult family who will have the time and energy to continue his training. They must like doggy kisses!
