Sadie – 5 year old female Lurcher

Sadie is a 5 year old female Lurcher. Lovely Sadie was brought to our door as a stray in a terrible state. She was never claimed. Sadie was thin, crawling in fleas, her skin and fur looked in poor condition and she had a huge open wound on her hip. She was immediately taken to our vets who prescribed cream for her wound, antibiotics and pain relief. With lots of TLC from the staff and dog walkers, Sadie is already looking and feeling so much better!

Despite suffering at the hands of her previous owner, Sadie is such a loving, happy girl! She adores people and is so affectionate. As we have no history on her we are looking for a home with older teenagers and upwards. On walks, Sadie doesn’t seem to react to dogs nearby, but doesn’t like it if they are in her personal space! Any new owner must take on board the lack of history we have on her and take things slowly when interacting with dogs and accept if she doesn’t like them in the long term. She absolutely does not like small animals and her new family must take care on walks with any cats or any other small animals she may come into contact with.

Sadie is such a sweetheart, she was an instant hit here. Her new family will be very lucky to have such a wonderful dog!
