Sally is a very pretty 9 year old Border Collie cross Spaniel girl who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Whitchurch, Shropshire, waiting for someone to offer her a permanent home. Sally doesn’t like to be left on her own and would like a home with someone around most of the time. We were told that Sally used to have separation anxiety when she was first taken in by her owner, but that it gradually improved and she was able to be left provided she had the company of another dog, so Sally could potentially settle into being left a little at a time again.
Sally is a very sweet dog and enjoys having gentle dogs for company. She doesn’t stick up for herself with other dogs. Sally is used to living with cats and is fine with them. Sally is great with considerate children. She is very gentle and enjoys a cuddle.
Sally’s favourite pastimes is having a cuddle on the sofa with you or playing with her toys. Sally’s dislikes is being left on her own. If you leave her on her own for more than 10 minutes she is likely to howl and cry. Sally’s ideal home is someone that is in the house most of the time and is looking for company. Maybe with active retired people, or homeworkers.
Sally is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been wormed and flea treated. She has just had a dental. At her vet-check, the vet said that Sally is a lovely healthy girl but could do with losing a little weight.
