Sam – 10 year old male Border Collie

This is Sam. He is a 10 year old Border Collie who came over from Ireland. He was a working Border Collie, but when he started to slow down the farmer was going to shoot him. Sam is good with other animals (excellent with other dogs and takes no notice of cats) and will be assessed with small caged animals. He is also very well behaved, mostly because when he wasn’t working he was tied up in a kennel.

Therefore, although he was a working Collie, he isn’t nutty by any means and comes up to you tail wagging and wanting a fuss. Sam had a blood test and his liver enzymes came out as higher than they should so he may need special food at some stage in the future. Sam has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
