Sami – 14 month old female Japanese Akita
This is Sami, a beautiful young Akita girl of 14 months old currently located in Co Clare, Ireland, looking for a new home after being rescued from death row in pound. Sami has a basic knowledge of commands, she is currently in foster care with two other dogs, both of whom she gets on well with. A friendly and relaxed girl, Sami loves human attention, and responds happily to affection with licks and cuddles!
Sami does not show any signs of food guarding or aggression, and whilst pulls a little on the lead, she responds well to correction. As a poundie without history, and untested with kids, Sami will not be placed in a home with young children, however she could potentially live with another dog, subject to successful introductions.
