Sammy – 2 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Sammy is a 2 year old black/brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who is one of the kindest, sweetest dogs you could ever meet. He really has a heart of gold. Sammy had been abandoned and spent quite a long time in kennels. He is now in foster care and has completely won over the dogs he is in foster care with. Sammy has even managed to win over a grumpy old pointer who hasn’t played with a male dog in years! In fact, he wouldn’t even entertain the idea, this just shows you what a special dog Sammy is! He is gentle and quiet in the home, he is so loving, when you cuddle him he cuddles you right back! He had obviously had little training when he went into foster care, but he is so eager to learn, and he so wants to show you that he wants to do the right thing.
Sammy is beginning to work well on the lead, he is very respectful of other dogs, and has nothing in him but kindness. He is fantastic with children, and would make a wonderful family dog. He is not currently living with any cats, but his response when he has seen them is a chasing response. We would recommend he is not rehomed with cats. He is housetrained, loves his walks, and enjoys going out in the car. He is no problem at all to be left for short periods and has not chewed anything or been destructive in any way.
Sammy is such a fantastic dog and he is looking for a permanent home where he will have the love and care he so deserves. Please note, Sammy will be neutered before he goes to his new home.
Sammy is being fostered in Sidmouth, Devon EX10. We would prefer a home in the south west or south of England, but other areas will be considered if it is the right home for Sammy.
