Sammy – 2 year old female Spaniel cross Pointer
Sammy is a 2 year old Spaniel cross Pointer and is currently on foster in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Sammy is great with other dogs, brilliant with children and shows no interest in cats.
Sammy is looking for an active energetic home where she wouldn’t be left to get bored and needs plenty of offlead walking to tire her. She loves attention and would do well with a family. She’s a very affectionate dog and seems to learn and adapt to new things quite quickly. An agility home would give her the exercise and mental stimulation she needs.
Her basic training is good, she does need some work on pulling when on lead but her foster home has found that a halti harness has helped this, this will come with time and patience. Once Sammy has settled in to a new home she can be left with no problems for a few hours, initially though she may need time to get used to this.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
