Sandy – 12 month old female Labrador Cross

Sandy is a 12 month old female Labrador Cross. This lovely girl was let down in Spain as a baby, she was found with her siblings as a babies dumped in cupboard box but being so cute was very quickly homed. Unfortunately the couple who homed her decided once she had passed the cute stage and needed more exercise and training they no longer wanted her and handed her back to rescue in Spain.

She has been in foster since then but her first foster family have now come back to UK so she is now with Aunty Sue and her family of dogs. I have known this lovely dog since she was a baby and she really should have her forever home now.

Having met this lovely girl quite a few times she is lovely, she has a lovely temperament and is very friendly, she is bouncy and so fast when she runs.

I met her this time again on a recent visit to Spain and saw how she has settled down with Sue, such a lovely dog and a beautiful nature, if you look at the video below it needs no words to see how lovely she is.

She is also fantastic with other dogs and really loves them, there is another video of her with Gracie a little puppy we saved from the pound look how gentle she is with her.

Sandy walks every day off the lead with Sue’s dogs, she loves to run and can run like the wind, not always staying with you but she always keeps an eye on you and will always come hurtling back if you get too far away, she loves running and playing with the other dogs video of her below doing this.

Sandy would really benefit from being with another dog or dogs, or someones companion she is not a coach potato type dog, she is young and full of life, she would make an amazing agility dog or flyball as she loves playing and chasing the ball. She has an amazing character and makes you laugh with some of the things she does, she can be clumsy, below is a video of her playing with a beetle.

Sandy would benefit from training classes to polish her off, she will make an amazing dog with very little work, she has a wonderful temperament and this next home has to be her last home.

Sandy is spayed, vaccinated, blood tested and has her own Pet Passport.
