Sasha the 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier is a special little girl looking for an extra special home. She came into rescue as her elderly owner felt they couldn’t give her the care she needed and after a drastic haircut she now looks like a Yorkie. Although Sasha lived with an elderly person before she would really like a more active home where she could get her regular walks and have some play time as well.
Sasha really is the perfect girl except she does have an issue with food and treat possession which is currently being worked on in her foster home, but will need constant attention until this is sorted through positive training. She is fine with toys but bones are a no, no with her. With this in mind we would only home her with older children that could understand not to go near her around food and treats.
Sasha is housetrained and walks nicely on the lead, she gets on with all other dogs and is currently in foster with four. She still has a terrier trait and is not suitable to be rehomed with cats. She would like a home with people around most of the time that could work on her food issue and give her the time and encouragement she needs to make her confident and secure. Where she will get regular exercise and stimulation as she has 5 years to catch up on her puppy hood.
Sasha has been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She is currently in foster in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and any potential adopter must visit her in her foster home.
If you are interested in adopting Sasha please read about our re homing process and complete a Pre Adoption form ( link here) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat .
