Sasha – 10 month old female Dogue de Bordeaux cross Mastiff

Sasha is a beautiful loving girl. She is already a big girl and weights approx 35 kilos and is still only a youngster, so please bear this in mind! She is still very puppy like, bouncy and rather clumsy but this all adds to her personality. Sasha loves people, she thrives in a busy household, more people the better as this means she can get fussed galore. What Sasha loves the most is cuddles and love but she isn’t needy – she will quite happily take herself off for a lay down or a play – so we think once she has matured she will be an independent lady.

Sasha LOVES going out, she adores her walks and is brilliant off lead, she requires approx 2 hours walking a day – split into 2 walks – she is a very active girl and again this needs to be taken into account with her new family. She is very strong on the lead and her foster home are currently training her to walk on a halti and she is responding well. She takes no interest in other dogs or people when she is out and although she strays to sniff and run – she is always keeping an eye on where you are so she can come thundering back to you. She is currently being fostered in a home with another large breed, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and a small male dog and she loves them all – especially the little one – but she would need to go with a laid back dog medium to large dog as she can be quite full on and forget her size when playing.

Sasha requires stability, she is still finding her feet in her foster home and they feel the sooner she has her forever home the better, as a youngster she needs further training and a set routine. She is happy to sleep in her crate at night and when you go out and can be left for up to 4 hours crated. Sasha needs an experienced large breed home with no young children, she is being fostered in a home where they also have cats and she takes no interest in them so we feel confident that with good introductions she can live with cats.

Sasha is a real stunner and the pictures do not really show how beautiful she is – this girl in the right home will flourish and be a fantastic dog to own.
