Sasha – 8 year old female Rottweiler

Sasha is an 8 year old Rottweiler who came into our care in December last year after being abandoned in a property with 3 other male dogs. We found Sasha a home for two months where she got on very well with the existing male dog. However, the family chose to take in a further two more dogs and sadly Sasha did not get on with the last one in, a female, and so she was returned.

We are all deeply saddened to see this gorgeous girl come back to us as she is such the loving, gentle giant who wants nothing more than to be your friend and cuddle up to you. Sasha really does love everyone in a very plaid, happy going way and has got an ounce of huftiness in her, except towards female dogs.

Sasha is a dominant female so any home she goes to must either be without dogs (and cats – she wants to eat them) or with a male dog that will be happy to be dominated).

Sasha has the most endearing character, she loves to have mad bursts where she runs around like a bucking bronco, she loves to play and be played with toys and ‘search and find’ games too.

Sasha really loves her cuddles but especially belly rubs and just loves being close to you – on your lap, sofa or bed! And we can absolutely assure you that whoever takes her into their life will not regret it one bit; they will simply be rewarded with love and happiness.

We have no qualms about Sasha going to live with children, but with her being a larger breed she may be best with children of a similar height to her.
