Scully - 2 year old male Greyhound

Scully is a 2 year old male Greyhound who was bought into rescue because he would not chase. When they let the mechanical hare go he ran the other way! He was then named Nerd, but he had a name change as soon as he got here. He is amazing! He is such a calm and placid dog.

He has lived with children, is fantastic with other dogs and is fine with cats and small animals. He has half-heartedly chased one of my cats when she ran off, but stopped immediately when called. He has eaten his dinner in the same room as the cats, been nose to nose with ferrets, rabbits and smaller animals such as rats and degus and is totally not interested.

Popular to contary belief Greyhounds do not need hours of exercise. They are built for short bursts of speed and then they want to rest. This is typical of Scully. He likes a quick run around and then a sleep! Scully is castrated and micro-chipped and has had his first vaccination today.
