Shane – 12 year old male Golden Retriever
Shane is a 12 year old Golden Retriever currently in the care of the Dogs Trust in Glasgow. He is a fine older gentleman who seeks a forever home with someone who has room in their hearts for an older dog. Don’t let his age fool you though, age is simply a number to Shane who loves bounding around on his walks and the garden where he’ll love to play with his toys and spend lazy afternoons snoozing in the sun.
He is looking for a calm, quiet, adult only home who can understand that there will be a sensitive settling in period whilst he adapts to his new environment. Shane has spent some time in kennels waiting for his perfect home as although he bonds quickly with those he lives with, he does become worried meeting new people so new owners must carefully manage this, with the full support of Dogs Trust Glasgow staff.
