Shep – 10 year old male Cross-Breed

Shep is a battle scarred old boy believed to be around ten years old. He is medium sized but quite light weight and a good old fashioned crossbreed. Shep – fostered in Wymondham, Norfolk (FR061). I don’t think there’s much I can say about this boy that you can’t visibly see in his pics. He’s covered in old scars and I think the light and the hope probably faded from his eyes some time ago. He came to us from the Botosani public shelter in Romania where life is just a day to day existence buy he doesn’t look like he’s ever had any kind of decent or comfortable life.

Shep is in the early days of his new domestic life. I’m sure he’s wondering if it’s all for real or if it’s all for keeps. For an old boy like him just to have a warm, dry and soft bed must feel like he is in heaven. Shep can manage short walks but isn’t yet terribly interested in his surroundings. This will come in time when he realises and accepts that his worries are all behind him.

Shep is happy around other respectful dogs and totally disinterested in cats. He is happy to have a fuss and a cuddle but won’t yet approach and ask for it.

We are looking for the life of luxury for this boy, we need him to be spoilt ridiculously for the time he has left because otherwise what on earth has his life been for?
