Shirley – 5 month old female Basset Hound

Shirley is a 5 month old Basset Hound. Her fosterer reports: Shirley is the most wonderful Basset puppy I have had the pleasure of fostering. She is full of fun. Shirley came in as a stray so we have very little history for her. We can say that since she has been in foster she has been an absolute sweetie. She is clean in the house, sleeps like an angel in her crate at night and loves other dogs and people.

Shirley is like all Bassets and can smell food at any distance, she will try and reach the counters, find any hidden crumbs and may steal your lunch if she gets the chance!

She needs to be homed with another dog as Bassets are pack hounds. She can be homed with children but as with any puppy Shirley is very bouncy and could knock very small children over. Shirley will need someone who is around for most of the day and will need spaying as part of the adoption agreement.
