Skipper – 7-8 month old male Cross-Breed

Skipper is a 7-8 month year old medium sized cross-breed boy! He was in a road traffic accident and brought to our animal hospital where he subsequently had to have his leg amputated. His owners signed him over to our care because they did not feel they could him the post-op care that he needed because they had children. All that Skipper has needed is gentle exercise daily to help him get used to his new way of balancing and strengthen his muscles.

He is in foster care where there are 4 other dogs and two young children and he is fantastic with them all. He really is a wonderful dog with a huge zest for life, he is coming on great with his toilet training although because he does not cock his leg you don’t know when he is going to do a wee in the wrong place, so vigilance is necessary! We think Skipper will make a fanatstic loving addition to anyones family and hope he will be snapped up quickly.
