Sky is a 3-4 month old female Husky Cross. She is an amazing puppy who was found wandering on the streets of Cyprus. Somehow the cars missed her, she didn’t eat poisoned food and she was found by someone who contacted us. She is now under our care and living with a lovely foster family in Cyprus. Sky’s luck has truly changed and she now has the opportunity to fly to the UK to find her forever home.
We don’t really know what breeds may be in her mix as her parentage is unknown, but her foster mum thinks she may be a larger size dog once fully grown. Being in foster is enabling her to learn manners and progress towards being housetrained. It has also given her a good start in life and allowed her vaccinations to take effect so like any young puppy in the UK, she is protected against the common diseases that can kill vulnerable dogs, such as parvovirus and distemper.
Sky is a super, cute, friendly puppy. Her antics are delightful to watch and like any puppy she is inquisitive and boisterous. Also, just like any other puppy, she will require support, guidance and training to help her develop into the adult dog you want her to be. Before coming into our care, Sky suffered an injury to her eye and she will remain blind in that eye. It in no way affects her ability to live her life to the full and she is a very happy, playful pup. Her foster mum is a vet and has confirmed that Sky is no longer in any pain, but that the eye will not recover from the trauma and will remain the way in which you can see from her photos.
We hope to find someone or a family who will open their heart and home to Sky and see her for the beautiful girl that she is allowing her to continue to grow into the wonderful family pet she has the potential to be. Sky loves cuddles and to play. She really is a gorgeous puppy. She would do well with another dog in the household to help her learn the ropes or as an only dog providing you can devote time to support her. Like any puppy we would always recommend she should be supervised if with children.
Sky is marvellous with all people, dogs and cats and will make her new family very happy. She has been vaccinated. Prior to her flight to the UK she will receive the vet preparation required, be microchipped and have her entry passport prepared.
The adoption donation required to cover the flight to get her to you in the UK will in the region of £325 depending on where you are in the country and the exchange rates. This is a little less than normal adoptions from Cyprus as her amazing foster mum will be paying for all the vet preparation and her passport.
Please contact us if you are interested in this gorgeous girl and we will be very happy to chat to you about our adoption process. It is much easier than you might think!
ADOPTION IS SUBJECT TO A HOME CHECK AND NEUTERING AGREEMENT.
Full post adoption back up support is offered.
