Skyler – 8 year old female Akita

Meet Skyler, our lovely laid back lady of 8 years of age. Skyler is an independent girl but she is happy go lucky and loves fuss and hugs too. Currently fostered in the North East, she has proven to be a non demanding girl, she quietly waits her turn to be fed, excercised and fussed. She likes to be sat at your feet and leans in for a cuddle. She will play with toys especially balls when she is in the garden.

Skyler likes to be outside watching the birds and leaning on the fence, sitting in the sunshine. She is strong on the lead initially but soon settles and walks nicely. Skyler would make a great only dog so she could have all those cuddles she loves so much to herself but we also feel after introductions she could potentially live with a male companion, she has not been cat tested and as a stray with no past history we wouldn’t look to place her in a household where there are children under 12 years of age.

Skyler is a calm in the house, she loves her bed and settles well. She enjoys her food and will sit to wait for her dinner, she eats slowly and chews every piece of kibble and she loves her treats. A quiet girl, Skyler doesn’t bark but she is vocal with the Akita “Woo Woo’s” when she sees you to welcome you home, she just loves her people. If you are looking for a lovely companion to share your home with look no further as Skyler could well be your girl. Please contact us for further information.
