Slate – 2-4 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Slate is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier of approx 2 to 4 years of age. Slate is a dinky Staffordshire with all the wonderful attributes of her breed. She is just a wonderful girl. When Slate first came into our care she would hide at the back of her kennel, trying her hardest to hide in her blanket and appear invisible, her sad look just made you want to pick her up and tell her all was going to be alright. Since these first few scary days for Slate she has come a long way, now when you appear at her kennel door she trots forward eager to come on a walk with you, she appears to know some commands and sits for her lead to be attached.

Once on her walk this wonderful girl just wants cuddles and if tummy tickles are on offer all the better, her tail never stops. She seems quite calm and although she pulls on her lead due to her size it is not a issue. Slate loves a treat and would do well at reward based training, she gets on well with her kennel mate and the pair of them are often cuddled up in their bed together. This girl is really pretty and her pictures do her no justice.
