Smartie – 5 month old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Smartie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross of about 5 months old who was recently returned to rescue because the owner said that she was too hyperactive and nipped too much after she was adopted as a small puppy. She was originally handed to a young boy in a park by a man who then took her home and his parents could not take on the responsibility of a dog. Since being back in rescue we have found no problems with Smartie apart from lack of training. She is great with other dogs, has no reaction to cats and no reaction to small caged animals.

She is a happy puppy and loves to play and loves her walks. She can bark at strangers when out, but it is only because she has been poorly socialised and it only lasts a second. Then she will run up to say hello nicely. Smartie cannot be homed with young children because she may jump up and scratch them. this is down to not being trained enough not to, but we are working hard on this issue. She can be left for short periods of time. Smartie is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She has been wormed and defleaed too.

A homecheck will be carried out and minimum adoption fee applies.
