Smarty is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. Unwanted runt of the litter, discarded like rubbish in a small village in Serbia. An elderly man took him in and took care of him the best he could. Smarty lived in his kennels but sadly had to move once the old gentleman got cancer and could no longer look after his dogs. He came to a private shelter and stayed there until last week when he traveled to the UK in search of a better life.
Smarty is still a little underweight but now that he’s in the UK and in loving foster that should quickly be resolved. He’s super sweet and loves people. He’s likes to play with other dogs and would love to have a canine brother/sister for company. Smarty is pretty small for a pointer but what he lacks in size, he makes up in speed! Super speedy and fun boy !
This gorgeous boy can be left for a few hours without being destructive. He sleeps through the night downstairs without any fuss. He could do with some lead walking practice as he gets a bit excited to go out but he walks nicely with a halite. Smarty is not a fussy eater and is food motivated so should be easy to train. He loves going out for a potter and spends most of his walks sniffing and running around. His recall is a bit hit and miss, depending on what there is to smell and chase.
Smarty is fully vaccinated, microchipped and castrated. He is so gentle and good, he can live with older children and another dog or two. He’s a lovely boy who just wants to be loved and being part of a family. Smarty is in foster in SW19 and waiting patiently for his forever family.
