Smeagal is a gorgeous 12 year old Beagle cross Collie boy who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Norwich, Norfolk awaiting his forever home. Smeagal isn’t living with other dogs at his foster home, but he has been fine with the dogs he has met out and about. His previous owner told us that he can be wary of big dogs after being attacked by a German Shepherd when he was young.
Smeagal hasn’t lived with cats before. Smeagal has been fine with the children he has met on walks. As he came into rescue because living with young children made him miserable, he doesn’t want to live with young children again. His foster carer thinks he should be OK with sensible, older children (aged 11+) who wouldn’t pull him about.
Smeagal’s ideal home: He would love to live with an active retired couple or a nice family with older children. He needs a reasonable size garden to enjoy.
Smeagal is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and has been wormed and flea treated. He has no current health problems.
