Smirnoff – 5 year old male Akita

Meet Smirnoff, a stunning 5 year old Akita boy looking for a new home due to his owner’s ill health. Incredibly friendly, Smirnoff immediately approached our assessor for cuddles! Very responsive, Smirnoff demonstrates a good level of training, and was happy to be encouraged to sit. Gentle with treats, Smirnoff does not demonstrate any signs of food aggression or possession, and is happy to sit and wait for his meals.

Smirnoff has not lived with children, and has little contact with them, with this in mind he will not be placed in a home with young children. Currently living with Star (FOA Ref: 328) their owner would prefer them to go as a pair as they have lived together their whole lives. If Star and Smirnoff are to be placed separately, we do feel that pending successful introductions, they could potentially live with another dog. For more information about either Smirnoff or Star, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
