Smokey – 2-3 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Smokey is a 2-3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who’s owner was made homeless and came to us for help, he had put him up for sale and free ‘to a good home’ and of course attracted some unsavory people which made him realize private rehoming has it’s risks and he only wanted the best for his dog.

We have had Smokey neutered, micro chipped and started vaccinations included Kennel Cough. He has had a health check and been wormed and flead. Smokey is a lovely character, he loves to be with you which is so typical of the breed; he really does like to be close to you.

He is partially deaf so must not be let off the lead in public. He knows several basic hand signals but he has the capacity to learn so much more! He is ok with other dogs, a bit excitable, ideally he needs to be the only pet as he wants all the attention to himself. He loves toys and to chew them, he is good on the lead too.

He would love a secure garden to run his little legs off! He is house trained and travels fine, typical Staffordshire in that he loves his home comforts including the sofa! Smokey would suit an experienced home with no small children. Just look at those ears! He’s a beautiful blue/grey color with a touch of blond brindle, what a handsome boy he is!
