Smokie – 7 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Labrador

Smokie is a 7 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Labrador. Smokie is a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home through no fault of her own. Don’t be fooled by her grey muzzle, she is still very active and loves going for her walks. Smokie loves having lots of attention and is especially happy when she is playing with her toys. Her favourite game is playing fetch. Smokie is very friendly however she can be very worried when people approach her wearing hoodies, she will bark at them. Smokie loves when visitors come to the house and will jump all over them and try to give them kisses. Smokie is great with children, however she has never lived with them therefore we are looking for a home where any children are teenagers.

Smokie will sit and give a paw for treats and has very good manners around food. Smokie is not destructive when left and is happy to be left for a couple of hours at a time. Smokie does pull when walking on the lead and is not very good off lead. Unfortunately Smokie has previously been attacked by dogs whilst she has been on lead, due to this happening Smokie now is on the defensive when she sees dogs approaching. Smokie will bark at the other dog. With positive training Smokie may be able to be more manageable around dogs. Smokie is looking for a quiet home where she will have lots of attention and where she can have lots of fun. As Smokie isn’t great with other dogs she would love her own secure garden as this will allow her to be off lead in the safety of her own garden. Smokie is looking for an owner who has experience in Staffordshire Bull Terriers or Staffordshire Bull Terrier Crosses.
