Speedy - 2 year old male Lurcher

Speedy is a young Lurcher aged around 2 years old. He is a very fine-boned dog and is most probably a Greyhound cross Whippet. As far as we know, Speedy has always lived in the same home where he was a serial escapologist! The dog warden was forever taking him back to his home when he had got loose, but this final time she decided to take him to the pound instead.

His owner knew he was there but chose not to come and collect him as, obviously, he would have had to have paid a fine to have Speedy back. Speedy has now ‘done his time’ there and is available for re-homing, having been neutered and vaccinated of course.

The dog warden tells us that in Speedy’s previous  home he lived with children and was an indoor dog who lived as part of a family. Speedy is a lovely boy who is desperate for affection and attention, but has had little training or time spent on him so he can be a little on the ‘wild’ side - in the nicest possible sense!

Speedy would simply love to go to training or agility classes and will relish the time and effort which needs to be spent on him! Ths is one bright little boy who will make the right owner a fabulous companion.
