Star – 5 year old female Akita
Meet Star, a stunning 5 year old Akita girl looking for a new home due to her owner’s ill health. Incredibly friendly and polite, upon being approached by our assessor, Star sat down and gave her paw. Very responsive, Star demonstrates a good level of training, and was happy to be encouraged to sit. Incredibly sweet, our assessor reports that Star is happy to sit and request fuss and love! Gentle with treats, Star has not demonstrated any food possession or aggression.
Star has not lived with children, and has little contact with them, with this in mind she will not be placed in a home with young children. Currently living with Smirnoff (FOA Ref: 327) their owner would prefer them to go as a pair as they have lived together their whole lives. If Star and Smirnoff are to be placed separately, we do feel that pending successful introductions, they could potentially live with another dog.
