Stella – 9 month old female American Bulldog
Stella (ref 111d) is an extremely beautiful and lovable white and brown female American Bulldog aged just 9 months old. She was transferred to Derby RSPCA Centre after her last owner dumped her at the gates of Leicester RSPCA Centre.
In spite of having lost her home and her owner at such a young age, Stella is a very friendly, lively, cheerful and affectionate dog who loves to play and thoroughly enjoys being around people. She is a bright dog who already knows at least 3 commands and who will both enjoy and benefit from receiving more training. She briefly received some training at Leicester and showed considerable promise.
Like all young dogs, she is full of beans and bounce and needs to let off plenty of steam, so she will require active dog-experienced owners who can offer her all the exercise, fun, walks, games and training sessions she needs. She will also benefit from the opportunity to socialise with other sensible people and their sensible dogs.
Stella would be suitable for a household where any children were aged 15+, kind and responsibly-behaved towards dogs. She needs to be the only pet in the home, because she would be certain to chase after cats and is not yet properly socialised with other dogs.
Kennel life here doesn’t suit Stella at all, so the sooner she can find a sensible, confident, committed new owner to offer her a happy new life, the better for her. If you can offer Stella the loving, caring, fresh-air-and-exercise life she needs, she’ll repay you with masses of love and affection – because that’s precisely what American Bulldogs do best.
