Steve – 5 year old male Terrier

Please meet Steve! Steve is an approximately 5 year old Terrier who came to us as an unclaimed stray. He has been in a foster home with 2 Rottweilers and here is what his foster dad says, ‘Steve is a very friendly little dog who will sit next to you for a cuddle and travels well in the car. He sleeps from 9 / 10pm to 7am and loves his toys and chews. He has been fine with our dogs even when our big Rottweiler tripped over him. He showed no reaction. When he is out on the lead, he is into everything birds, things in the bushes, I think it would be safe to say he has no recall off lead! He did mark in the house initially but improved very quickly and neutering should stop it completely.

When Steve was picked up by the dog warden. He was emaciated and put on weight at the pound but was still very skinny when he arrived. After some time in foster he is now looking great and he will be neutered and vaccinated before leaving for his forever home. He will need a home without cats or small furries, a secure garden and he can live with children aged 8 and over.
