Struppi is a 4 year old female Cross-Breed. Struppi story is one of incredible sadness but shows what a wonderfully strong sense of survival some of our dogs have. Struppi was found with her Mum at the road side. She had been hit by a car which had damaged her back end. Her Mum never left her and protected her even after she moved her to Wonderland Shelter. Struppi struggled for at least 2 year to walk on her back legs dragging her rear end behind her, we were told by many to let Struppi go but we felt Struppi could get better and deserved a chance, she started to use her legs more and more and gained strength in them thanks to some hydro therapy at the shelter. Last year Struppi had an accident and managed to rip the skin off her neck causing a large open wound. Our vet did an amazing job of stitching her back together and throughout the ordeal Struppi remained in bright and cheerful self, just like she has always been.
Struppi moved to the Puppy house and has come on leaps and bounds. She occasionally looses her back legs but this is getting less and less. She is a bright energetic friendly and playful little girl who has been through so much. She needs a loving home with a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the chance of a family life that this little one has fought so hard to get.
Struppi’s turn must come soon she has been through so much and deserves a family and a warm and cosy life. She is very good with other dogs and lives currently with the puppy house cat. She adores human attention and just needs some love and tlc.
