Sue – 2 year old female Greyhound

Sue is a 2 year old Greyhound, a cheeky little smiley girl who would now like to find her forever sofa and start to relax in a new stable home. Sue arrived at Greyhound Gap a few weeks ago and although a happy go lucky little girlie she was very stressed in a kennel on her own and bar chewing and bless her broke a tooth. We took a gamble on introducing her to Dash one of our 4 year old boys and they have settled together straight away and she is no longer a worried little bar chewer but a happy settled girlie.

Due to this we know that Sue most definitely needs a home with another dog for company, whilst she has a companion she is settled and sleeps her days away when not out on walks and is much happier. Sue is clean in her kennel and has been good with all the other dogs she has met at the kennels and out on walks, she walks like a dream on lead!

She is not cat friendly but can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 years and upwards and we feel would be best suited to a home where someone can be around more especially in the beginning whilst she settles. There is not much more to say about this wonderful little girl, she has a great heart and a gentle persona and someone is going to be very lucky to have her join their family. We all adore her and will miss her when she leaves but she is wasted with us here in kennels.

Sue is vaccinated, kc vaccinated, de flead, de wormed, microchipped, spayed and has had a dental. She is currently in Stoke on Trent but can be rehomed nationally subject to a successful homevisit being carried out and all members of the immediate family and resident dogs being willing to travel to meet with her.

Greyhound Gap
Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out. If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so:
