Susie – 1 year old female Saluki cross Lurcher
Susie is a 1 year old female Saluki cross Lurcher. She is excellent with people and other dogs. She can live with children aged 7 plus and as she is ex hunting dog so we do not recommend her living with cats. She came into our care after being hit by a car and her previous owners left her for 5 days before calling us. She had a shattered leg and was exceptionally emaciated. After mending her leg with some incredibly expensive corrective surgery, and applying an external fixation device she has done very well to come round.
She is now very nearly at her ideal weight for age and size and is now looking for her forever home. This dog has really had a rough life and needs an owner to love her and make up for what she has been through. She will almost certainly have a permanent limp for the rest of her life and likely won’t be able to sprint as well as most other dogs of her sort. If you can live with that then this is you’re dog! She will be spayed prior to rehoming.
