Suzie - 10 year old female Greyhound

Meet the beautiful Suzie. Suzie is a 10 year old Greyhound girl who recently made her way into our care alongside Lindy who has also been placed up for homing (also featured on DogsBlog.com). Suzie and Lindy both came from a home situation and had lived happily amongst other dogs.

Whilst Lindy is more outgoing Suzie is much more laid back and quiet in her foster home. She gets on well with all the other dogs but choses to pretty much keep herself to herself, settling on her favourite bed and sleeping.

Suzie is a darling and we feel has quite a character waiting to come out. On walks she is alot more alert and attentive to her surroundings and showing interest in other dogs etc around her. When other dogs run off leash she can get a little excitable and wanting to join in the chase.

Poor Suzie has no teeth at all which leaves her with her tongue hanging out here there and everywhere. It also adds to this perfect girls character and makes her pull the most comical of expressions.

Suzie really is a plucky senior and other than needing to gain a little weight, shed her kennel coat and gain condition is in fabulous health.

Suzie is spotlessly clean and fine to be left. Suzie is NOT cat friendly. Suzie would be best suited to a home with other older calmer dogs in. She would quite happily slip in amongst a group of Greyhounds or would happily adapt to being an only dog with someone around most of the time to begin with. Suzie is vaccinated, KC vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, micro-chipped and spayed.
