Super Syd is an 11 year old Border Collie boy who is in a foster home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, waiting for someone to offer him a permanent home. Oldies Club were advised that Syd shouldn’t live with cats. He often finds other dogs to be troublesome on walks, especially medium to large ones. He’d like to be the only pet at home and get all the attention!
There’s a 7 year old and an 11 year old in Syd’s foster family. He’s fine with them and pleased to meet their friends when they visit, so he should be happy living with dog savvy children. Syd likes playing with his ball and he’s a pro when it comes to catching treats. So clever! He finds big, growling monsters a bit of a worry (i.e. motorbikes and loud cars).
He’s pretty laid back and cheerful so he’d fit in with a family where someone is around at least some of the day or he’d make a wonderful companion to an active retired person. Obviously, he’ll need a nice garden to potter in.
Syd is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and healthy.
