Billy – 8 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Billy was handed into rescue as an unwanted pet, with nowhere to turn. The is a regular occurrence that happens to many dogs like Billy, through no fault of their own. During Billy’s time in foster care, he was being picked on by the other dogs, as felt frightened and bewildered. Billy was swiftly moved from foster care to rescue, where he was able to relax among the 14 friendly dogs, he currently lives with. A dear little fellow, Billy doesn’t want any trouble, and just enjoys the quieter life. If there is a nice comfortable sofa, and a fire burning, that is usually where you will find Sir Billy most content.

He enjoys a good walk, whilst exploring the surroundings, but will not hassle you to go out. This chap is very relaxed and easy going, but not all lazy. Sir Billy appears to have no interest in the Cats, as he is very content with human company. The Chickens and Horses have no great appeal to this dear little fellow. Being an older boy, he has accepted the thrills of yesterday. Billy also lives with young children, and is just happy at where ever he receives Custard Creams and affection. He certainly loves a Rich Tea biscuit, dunked in a hot cuppa! Bless him. Vaccinated, Castrated, Wormed, Flea Treated and ready to go. If you are interested in young Billy, please get in touch. All adoptions are subject to a successful Home-check.

Bobby – 10-11 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Bobby, is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier aged about 10 or 11 years old. Bobby is a really calm sweet boy. He loves to curl up and snooze and chill out but once he’s out in the garden, he likes nothing more than a run around and a play with the other dogs. When Bobby arrived, he needed vet treatment – he had several very decayed teeth which needed removing and he also had a lump on his leg which we needed to see to.

Bobby had 5 teeth removed and the lump too. We were also told he had a slight heart murmur, Bobby has recovered well from his surgery but the heart murmur will need monitoring.

Bobby is very happy here at Little Angels but he’d love a home of his own. Bobby could quite happily live with other dogs – possibly older dogs nearer his age, but no cats. He is fine with young children, okay when travelling but sometimes gets a little stressed, clean as a whistle in the house and fine with being left for reasonable amounts of time. Bobby is a lovely well mannered boy, who deserves a new forever home. Bobby is also available for fostering long term.

McQueen – 6 year old female Great Dane

Please meet McQueen! McQueen is a 6 year old Great Dane who is in rescue due to his owners illness. McQueen is a gentle giant who is missing his family and adores people and other dogs. McQueen is fabulous with children and has lived with a Jack Russell.

McQueen is an absolute darling and has been nothing but a pleasure since the moment he arrived. He is calm and loving and just wants a family of his own to love. McQueen has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. McQueen was diagnosed with hip dysplacia when he was a year old. He has been seen by a vet regularly in his previous home and no medication has been prescribed. SEDR would like McQueen to be seen by a specialist, at our cost…so that ongoing medication will bring relief to his condition. For this reason, his forever home must be close to Swanley in Kent or with a home prepared to bring him to a consultation here when the specialist visits. SEDR well help with any ongoing medical treatment.

McQueen is a big dog, with an even bigger heart. He is the most gentle and loving dog anyone could wish for, and can live with young children and he must be rehomed with a resident dog, as he loves same species company. If you can offer this wonderful boy a forever home, please fill in the pre adoption form on our website www.sedogrescue.co.uk and we can guarantee he will return your love tenfold!
