Max - 8 month old male Cross-Breed
Max is aged approximately 8 months old and is a lovely black and tan cross-breed, we think he has some German Shepherd in him. He has lived with a family but has come in to us because of illness within the family. He is a friendly boy and is fine with children and other dogs.
He is a bit nervous in his kennel but as soon as he is out happy and loves to play. He would be ideal for agility training. He would need some general training as well but is at a good age to begin.

This is Mr P is a cross-breed male aged approximately 7 years old, he got his name because he looks like one of our foster dogs called Pickles. He was found as a stray and we rescued him from the local dog pound where he had been for 6 weeks.
Mr P has improved so much since we rescued him from the pound, he has put on weight and is a very happy dog. He loves to be fussed and taken out, he still walks a little oddly and we think it is due to a very mild form of epilepsy, he does not require medication and has vever had a fit.
He would need to be an only dog as he can be funny about some other dogs. Mr P would benefit a home where someone can spend time with him and give him lots of love.

Luke is a lovely black and tan medium sized cross breed male, he is a young dog aged approximately 2 years old. He has just arrived with us from the dog pound and is very nervous, he did not like the camera at all!
We do not know much about him at the moment, he has also gone into the isolation block with kennel cough. He is friendly despite being nervous!
Trent - 4 year old male Rottweiler
Trent is a Rottweiler male, aged approximately 4 years old. Trent is very well behaved although he does pull on the lead, he will sit when you tell him to. He is very friendly with people although we have yet to try him with other dogs and children.
He has shown no signs of aggression whilst in the kennels with us. Trent is a large stong dog so would need an owner who could handle him.
Jester - 4 year old male Greyhound
Jester is a black Greyhound male who is 4 years old. He has run nearly 60 races on registered tracks, and his last race was over a year ago. Since then there is no history on him, until he ended up in a dog pound in the North of England recently. We are asuming he has been racing on a flapping tack in the meantime, but we will never know. Jester is a big dog with a big personality!
He walks well on the lead but is so friendly he sometimes jumps up and puts his paws on your shoulders. This could be off putting especially to young children. It’s fair to say Jester loves people, whether is cuddling with them or leaning on them, he is most definately a people dog. He has an old shoulder injury which doesn’t seem to bother him at all, but may be aggravated by off lead exercise.

Harry is a an stunning brindle greyhound boy who is 4 years old. He was going to be put to sleep because his family were going abroad to live. He is fit, healthy and a lovely boy. He is very sweet but nervous and unfortunately we have had to put him in kennels as there are no foster space.
He really needs a home asap as kennels as he is not happy in kennels. A volunteer spent some time with him and said: “Harry enjoyed leading on the walk and got on well with Dan, looking around showing interest, he didn’t seem to respond to fuss but this is a new thing for him. Harry is good on the lead liking to sniff”.
With some time and TLC Harry should really come out of himself.

Sam is a Saluki cross Greyhound male aged approximately 1 1/2 years old. He is black, tan and white. he was found in Richmond and the pound took him in. He is nervous of new people and dogs at the moment but with Rowan showing him the ropes he is settling quickly.
Sam will be available for re-homing once his confidence has increased, which we hope won’t be long with the TLC he is getting. He does love other dogs and people once he knows them.

Daniel is a beautiful fawn Greyhound male about 3 years old (bit wet from the rain in these photos). He is tall but slim in build. He has just come on from thepound but first impressions are he is a lovely lad. One of our volunteers spent some time with him and has this to say “he is fab, elegant and when he walks he keeps part of his tongue out of the left side of his mouth.
Very gentle on the lead, walks to heal. Daniel is just so calm. He wasn’t very keen, always looking forward rather than at sheep etc, Daniel enjoyed fuss and was wagging heavily when I cuddled him in his pen”.

Mia is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross aged approximately 10 weeks old. She was found as a stray. Mia is an open book at the moment and needs care and training as all puppies do. Can you offer her a loving new home?
Mr Jones - 4 year old male German Shepherd Dog
This poor lad is Mr Jones, he’s a 4 year old German Shepherd male who was brought in as a stray he is in poor condition very thin and needs medication at present. He needs to be in a foster home or new forever home as soon as possible if you can help get in touch.
Mr Jones is a lovely natured dog. All he wanted to do was play with Chaz (their medium dog) all the time. He showed very little interest in people, but early days.
He had a quick sniff at the 3 dogs he met and was friendly enough. He doesn’t seem to have had any real training and wouldn’t even sit, but we think he would make a lovely companion for someone with plenty of time and patience to train him.
