Teddy - 2 1/2 year old male Shar-Pei
Teddy is a 2 1/2 year old Shar-Pei male, who will be 3 years old in November. He is a beautiful KC Registered. fawn brush coat Shar Pei. Teddy has been castrated and has had his ear canals removed due to having ear disease. This has left him between 60-70% deaf, so you need to be patient with him when calling etc.
He is fully house-trained and is used to being left. Teddy also knows the commands of sit, lay down and paw, with visual commands as well.
Teddy is very laid back, enjoys sleeping and treats which include cheese, pig’s ears, left overs and dry bread. Teddy is good natured, but doesn’t like to be approached by strangers too quickly and can growl at them; he would prefer to ’suss’ out someone. Teddy has lived and socialised with other dogs, and also lives with a cat, without any problems.
He has never lived with children, but has socialized with them (14 – 16 years old). Teddy would be better off in a quiet household, with older children that aren’t going to treat him like a ‘toy’ and try to pull him about.

Wally
Wally is a bouncy Irish Wolfhound cross aged approximately 1 years old who is looking for a fun and active new home.
Although Wally is not the full size of a Wolfhound, he will not be suitable for a home with small children because he is prone to jumping up. Sighthounds do not need copious amounts of exercise and are content to curl up in a comfy spot as long as they have been allowed a good leg stretch! Wally will be a fun addition to any home.

Jack is a 5 year old German Shepherd cross Lurcher. He was brought in as a stray and was painfully thin, full of fleas & unable to digest food properly.
It turned out he has a Pancreas deficiency but this has now been stabilized with medication. Jack is very friendly and loves company but needs a home with no other pets or young children.
His medication is simply mixed with his food and works out at a cost of about £10 per week. Jack needs a home with either experience of Pancreas problems or someone who is able to continue with his treatment, as this is a lifelong commitment.

Poppy is a special case and needs someone with Weimaraner experience. She deserves love and kindness and understanding. Poppy was found as a stray in appauling condition and could barely stand due to muscle wastage.
She was adopted and came on leaps and bounds but had been psychologicaly damaged by her abusive past. Whenever she feels threatened by sudden movement or noises she does snap and can be very protective of her home environment. This is nervous aggression and she is a very loving pet when she feels relaxed.
She is not good with other animals and simply due to her nervousness can not be rehomed with children. Can you take on a dog like Poppy who has been so terribly hurt and distressed in the past? If you have some experience of Weimaraners and time and patience give us a call - Poppy needs you!
