Tanner – 8-12 month old male Labrador Cross
Tanner is a beautiful, big 8-12 month old male Labrador cross possibly Greyhound type. He came from the same pound as Baxter (also featured on DogsBlog.com). Tanner needs plenty of training in his new home – whilst he is gentle, kind, loving – he is still a pup. He needs to learn boundaries and manners. He has only been here for a couple of days but is already getting the hang of walking on a loose lead – he is a VERY quick learner, and just needs the right home to teach him. He has been good with the other dogs he has met so far.
Although we are sure Tanner will be good with children, he is just too bouncy and too exciteable to be homed with young children as they would easily be knocked over. He does a beautiful ‘sit’ when a treat is on offer! We feel that Tanner has SO much potential, he is a bit of a blank canvas at the moment, but he will be a wonderful family pet. Tanner is not as exciteable in the house as he is on walks, in the house is a much calmer dog who likes to follow you around and watch the goings on. Just look at that cheeky smile!
