Tara – 1-2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Tara is a pretty 1 or 2 year old Staffordshire Bull terrier who has moved from home to home being abandoned with a friend who already had other dogs. Six months later the 2 bitches came into season and, true to form, hormonal tension sparked off a fight. Tara taking the full force and needing treatment. The ‘owner’ couldn’t afford and couldn’t contemplate another fight so took Tara to the vet to be put to sleep. The vet fell in love and promptly repaired her wounds and found us as her rescue place. We are so pleased they did.

Tara is such a lovely dog. She is very feminine and very loving. For the Staffie lover on the hunt, looking for a dog who they can offer a stable life to and will in return offer them devoted companionship and lots of licks. Tara is currently getting over kennel cough and then can commence her vax. course. However, she is robust and making very good progress on all fronts.

Tara is there in her kennel ready to walk with anyone, ready to enjoy company and strokes. She is finding it hard to understand what has happened with her life that has lead to her current predicament. Tara is an ambassador for her breed; the best of everything. Sorry to bore you, but Tara is special and wouldn’t hurt a fly … just building her confidence up so she doesn’t run in the opposite direction! We think she is there!

“Please note that this dog is currently in kennels and is also available for foster until a ‘forever’ home is found”.
