Tessa is inquisitive of cats but she loves other dogs and children too. We are looking for a home with another dog for her to play with as she is used to living with other dogs now – males and females. Tessa was abandoned during the night outside a Spanish dog rescuers gate, with her three sisters, all of whom have already got new homes.

Fosterer’s report: We have both Tessa and Astra in foster and they are dear little girls who love chasing and playing together. We think that Tessa would make a good agility dog! Her lead training and house training are good and she responds very well to instructions on walking and toileting. She is great with a variety of other dogs as you can see. Tessa and Astra have healthy appetites and usually have their heads in one bowl. Tessa at the front, her sister Rosie behind.

Current location is in a foster home in Stratford on Avon. Vaccinated, wormed, flea treated
Too young to be neutered but this must be done when they are old enough, microchipped, Pet Passport, 4 free weeks Pet Insurance activated from the link on our web site, Any known health issues NONE KNOWN.

For Dogs coming from Spain: This adoption fee is a contribution towards the costs of rescuing the dog- microchip, passport, vaccines, tests for European diseases, neutering, parasite treatment and transport to the UK. We can not home dogs from Spain or Portugal to people who work, even part time. They need someone at home all day, they are not used to being alone, so even a couple of hours broken with a dog walker will be too much for them to cope with. They are highly likely to develop separation anxiety which is distressing for them and everyone in their new home.

Adoption Fee : £ 165 – to be paid direct to the Spanish rescue to cover travel costs via UK bank account
