Tilly – 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed
Beautiful Tilly is a very, very friendly brindle female cross-breed, who is believed to be 1 – 2 years old. She is a very people-loving dog who thrives on keeping company with human beings. She adores being hugged, stroked, groomed and altogether made a fuss of, but the thing that’s most important for her is simply being included in whatever’s going on.
Tilly also absolutely loves to play. She’ll happily play with toys or romp around with people, but she especially likes to play tug of war and generally muck about. She is still very much a lively young dog with plenty of steam to let off, so she’ll definitely be needing a human playmate as well as somebody to take her for plenty of walks. Being kept shut in a kennel here is no life for a young dog who needs lots of fresh air, exercise and downright fun to keep her happy and healthy.
Tilly would be suitable for a household where any children were aged 7+ and very kind to animals. She already knows at least 3 commands and is a bright dog who could learn even more if her new owner took the time to give her some more training, which she should respond well to and benefit from.
She appears to get along fine with other dogs, but like most dogs she would almost certainly chase after cats and rabbits. Tilly loves being with people so much that being left on her own makes her unhappy and upset, so she would be best suited to a home where there is generally somebody around to keep her company. She really is a tremendously sweet and lovable dog. If you can offer her all the love, companionship, walks and play she needs, then lovely friendly Tilly might well be the dog for you.
