Tilly is a five month old Whippet. She came to us after as she had already been in two homes in her short life. Classed as a naughty dog, she is in fact just a typical five month old Whippet, very playful and full of energy, not a naughty dog at all. She is confident, happy and very playful and can live with other dogs and children. We would prefer a home where someone is around all or certainly most of the time to ensure she stays a happy dog and to ensure that she develops into a well behaved and contented adult. Preferably a home with another dog or dogs would be better for Tilly so she has a pal or pals to run around and play with as she is currently in foster with three other dogs.
Tilly is house trained and settles well overnight, but basic training will need to be continued with her, and we would like her to be taken to training classes for basic training and to ensure she becomes a well socialised adult dog. Whilst whippets may be smaller than Greyhounds, they certainly aren’t more placid, a common mistake made by people when acquiring a whippet pup or adult dog. They are full of life and anybody wishing to adopt Tilly, please don’t go on size or looks do your research on the breed first.
Tilly is wormed, flead, microchipped and is fully vaccinated. Any potential adopters must be willing to have Tilly spayed at a later date, she must either come back to our vets for spaying or veterinary proof will be required that this has been done at another vets as stated in the adoption agreement. Tilly can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
